We are pleased to announce the launch of the NOMIS Center for the Cognitive Foundations of Economics at the University of Zurich. Supported by the NOMIS Foundation, the Center aims to deepen our understanding of the cognitive foundations of economic behavior and decision-making.
Led by Professor Thomas Graeber, it investigates how complexity, attention, and bounded rationality shape human choices—using large-scale experiments, field data, and modern analytical tools to uncover the mechanisms behind economic behavior.
